My name is Ana, and I have been in the beauty Industry for 14 years. My first job was in a local hair salon. where I discovered I was falling in love with this industry!

My love and passion to bring joy to women grew into kind of an obsession, but in a good way. In 2006 I was working at my good friend Nena’s Hair Salon, doing reception work. I then decided to take my artificial nail program. Working with Nena I developed my aesthetician skills, but I couldn‘t stop there!

I was very observant on how the hairstylist and client interacted with each other, the trust and bond was appealing to me.

Since then my career has evolved. I continued developing and researching the beauty industry which guided me to enroll into a medical aesthetician program in 2012. I graduated from Medi Aesthetics institute of Canada. Throughout the course I learned Laser hair removal, photo facials, light chemical peels. and microdermabrasion.

After graduation I was then offered a job at the school that also had a Medi-Spa. After a year of experience, I was then offered to teach the Makeup and Gel Nail Programs. In 2014 I enrolled in a few more programs, both as a Lash Artist as well as an Airbrush Makeup Artist.

Having an ambitious personality, as well as support from my husband, I was drawn into self employment. Around this time was when I first founded Ana’s Spa, which I ran out of my home. After two years of operating a home-based business at maximum capacity I decided it was time to expand my efforts!
In January 2016 we purchased a beautiful Victorian style home in the heart of downtown Red Deer, Alberta. And that is where Solorzano Spa was born!

I feel so privileged and honoured to further my education and be a role model for other aestheticians. It excites me everyday to know women from surrounding areas drive the distance to come to Solorzano Spa.
